Our Story
A small studio, a slow craft, and a love for the everyday ritual.

Lumina began in 2019 on a wooden kitchen table, with a single batch of beeswax candles poured for friends. Today, our studio is still small — a quiet room in Brooklyn, full of dried botanicals and brass scales — and we still pour by hand, in batches of twelve.
Every fragrance is composed in collaboration with perfumer Asa Lindgren. Our vessels are thrown by ceramicist Mira Okafor and made to outlast the candle inside. We believe a candle is a small daily ritual, and we make them slowly enough to matter.
